Guest Jake went to the fridge and took out a coke, went over to the bar stool and sat down. He liked to talk to his mum when she’s making dinner. "What’s for tea?" asked Jake. "You’ll see," replied mum," we’ve got a guest." The doorbell rang; Jake put down the coke and went to the door. Opened it and there was Sophie. She looked older than fifteen. An unknown mad schoo lEveryone was shouting, screaming and playing. Someone had a bleeding nose and a horrible gash at the side of their leg. It was at school this had happened for some reason the teachers were joining in, even the head teacher was fighting with the primary fives and primary sevens, unfortunately the teacher had took out a big sharp stick from his pocket and stabbed one of the pupils in the eye. B owlingI was at the bowling alley for a game With Billy, Todd and Jimmy it was Todd up first. He bowled and got a strike, then it was Billy and he got five pins down and for his other he got a spare. He jumped up and down. Then it was me. Cool boy Their was a boy who had his own home. He had his own car as well. He was 12 years old he had a car because you where allowed to drive at 10 which is cool. He went into his car to go to Scotland West Barns Primary School because he was a deliveryman for schools. He played cds when he was on the A1 and the M8 roads. Lost in the Woods Emily was cold, lost and wet. Luckily, she had her cocker spaniel, Lilly. Emily had been told by her Mum to take Lilly for a good, long walk in the woods. She had been away for three whole hours. She decided to walk along the path in front of her. It was a very wide path. The path led to a cave. Emily walked inside the cave, shaking like a leave. On the beach Lucy argued with her mum. " Why won’t you let me have ice cream" she said screaming at her mum " when you are hungry of thirsty you get something but what about me I am younger than you and get hungry easily "said Lucy crying . Swimming Emma went swimming. She stepped forward four steps and dived into the pool. The waves fought against her, but she was strong. Her new pink goggles fell off and sadly sank to the bottom. She tried to find them. a Emma swam and swam to find her goggles but they had completely disappeared. Stressing, Emma stood trying to get a peek of them. If only I had my glasses, she thought. Train disaster One day a boy called Harry went to see his Gran with his mum Kirsty. They had tea there then they went home on the train. When the train came Harry lost his mum, he was very scared. A lady came to him and Harry said, "I have lost my mum." She helped him find her. After about 2 minutes he found her The Train had gone. So he and his mum waited for the next train. Bored Dog Woof was sitting in his basket. Sad, dreamy hoping someone would come home and play with him. He had a strange feeling inside. Knock!! Knock!! Herbie As I waited for him to come. I just sat there watching the telly daydreaming as usual. Then the phone rang, my mum answered. She had a smile pinned to her face. I could tell it was him. As they spoke to each other down the phone her face turned more and more uncertain. I heard him say whether she wanted something and she said, "Ok," then they said bye, then she smiled sweetly at me. Lost In Toys R Us Fred zoomed around Toys R Us. "Where’s my mum I need to find her," said Fred. He ran up and down all the aisles. He saw board games, outdoor toys, bikes, jigsaws, baby toys, Lego, play mobile, cuddly toys, boy toys, girl toys anything you could name. He ran to the counter and there she was. She was just paying for Fred’s birthday presents. "Oh my" wept Fred. Fred was so tired he just wandered outside and got in the car and went to sleep. Supermarket Havoc I went to the supermarket for some ice cream –chocolate ice cream that is. Winding through isles and towers of cereals stacked up high I thought that I needed them. They toppled over on top of me. Screeching I hopped Out of the rubble to find some guards. They told me to ask for help next time, "OK," I said to them," it wont happen again Mister Sim." With that I asked them where the ice cream was, and I got it, then paid for it and went home to eat my dinner and my ice cream …… Matthew Barnott ( 100) |

The Count
Strikes Again
The count stood there, his crimson painted lips stood out against his deathly pale face. His deep sunken eyes twinkled in the glowing moonlight. As he opened his mouth two daggers, the tips stained with blood, were visible. Scarlet droplets fell from the corners of his mouth to the floor. The victim screamed as once again he stuck his teeth into him, draining his body of blood.
The Count withdrew and licked his lips. The body lay limp on the floor. He flapped his wings and flew through the open window into the night sky, and back to his coffin. Megan Mclaren (100) |

Trench Warfare
The whistle blew and we were up over the trenches into no man’s land. We got to the enemy trenches. I watched as my friends fell around me. Heavy fire was mowing down our troops. The commander shouted, "retreat!" and the remaining troops ran like dogs with their tails between their legs. We could see our own trenches now but then I collapsed and felt a searing pain in my chest. I touched it and felt warm blood.
