| December 1st. |
| At last we have a new secretary, Mrs Mary Horsburgh. Mary has been a school secretary for many years at Dunbar Primary School but we managed to entice her to work with us. She will be a valuable addition to our team! |
| December 2nd. |
| We are sending twelve of our P6/7 pupils to Meadowmill to take part in a volleyball competition. The children have been practising at lunch times and we hope they enjoy the competition. |
| December 4th. |
| Two of our pupils, Amy Smith and Danny Munroe, are off to Torness Power Station for a presentation after winning the annual poster competition. They will be accompanied by their teacher, Scott Lavery. The presentation will be made by Councillor Pat O'Brien. |

| Mrs Gracie took her choir to Belhaven Hospital to entertain the patients with traditional Christmas songs. Everyone enjoyed the experience especially the children who were given loads of chocolate. Hmmmm! |
| December 15th. & 16th. |
| Christmas parties are taking place this week with Miss Leslie's class and Miss Inglis' class on Monday. Santa managed to pop in and a good time was had by all. Mrs Gracie and Mr Lavery's class are having their party today (16th.) |

| The primary school are off to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh. We've been practising....'He's behind you !!!' |
