December 1st.
At last we have a new secretary, Mrs Mary Horsburgh. Mary has been a school secretary for many years at Dunbar Primary School but we managed to entice her to work with us. She will be a valuable addition to our team!
December 2nd.
We are sending twelve of our P6/7 pupils to Meadowmill to take part in a volleyball competition. The children have been practising at lunch times and we hope they enjoy the competition.
December 4th.
Two of our pupils, Amy Smith and Danny Munroe, are off to Torness Power Station for a presentation after winning the annual poster competition. They will be accompanied by their teacher, Scott Lavery. The presentation will be made by Councillor Pat O'Brien.

December 6th.

On Saturday the 6th we will hold our school Christmas fair. We have great raffle prizes this year: a DVD player, tickets to go to the Brunton theatre, Food hampers and lots of others. We have many stalls and we hope we will raise a lot of money! Update : The PTA Fair raised the staggering amount of £1160 !!!! Well done to all the PTA  committee who put in so much effort to make the fair successful, and the parents who spent their money so freely.  [ for pictures ]

December 15th.
Mrs Gracie took her choir to Belhaven Hospital to entertain the patients with traditional Christmas songs. Everyone enjoyed the experience especially the children who were given loads of chocolate. Hmmmm!
December 15th. & 16th.
Christmas parties are taking place this week with Miss Leslie's class and Miss Inglis' class on Monday. Santa managed to pop in and a good time was had by all. Mrs Gracie and Mr Lavery's class are having their party today (16th.)
December 17th.
The primary school are off to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh. We've been practising....'He's behind you !!!'
