Zoo-Ed As part of their project on the Body P4/5 are off to Edinburgh Zoo to look at skeletons and Locomotion. This is the second time in as many weeks that they have been there as they visited it recently in conjunction with their Sex Ed. programme. |

Inter School Athletics at Meadowbank Stadium,Edinburgh On Wednesday ( 30th. May ) the school sent a team to take part in the annual inter school sports. The team performed extremely well and came a creditable 4th. There was, however, outstanding performances from Anna in P7 who equalled the high jump record of 1.25m, and won the 600m. |
Netball Tournament 2001
Our netball team took part in the annual inter school netball tournament at Pennypit, Prestonpans on Thursday 31st. MAy. The same girls had been involved since P5 and had come last and second last in the previous two years, but this year surprised themselves ( and everyone else ) with a fantastic display in winning 7 games

Touch Rugby Festival at Winterfield P5/6/7 took part in a touch Rugby Festival Monday 28th. May. Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect.

Frankenstein P6/7 are off to see Frankenstein at the Brunton theatre on Thursday ( 10th. May). On Wednesday they will having a Drama workshop from ELC Drama specialists. We are all hoping for a HORRORBILL experience !! |

P6/7 Teacher's Last Day |
| It was Robert
McDougall's last day with us on Friday 30th. March. Robert is off to
teach in Musselburgh. We held an assembly and Robert and his class
sang a few songs for us. He has done a great deal for the school in
his time with us and he will be missed. We wish him all the best !!
