MEDAL JOY FOR ANNA

DUNBAR RUNNING CLUB'S Anna Cathro made her AAAs debut at the Indoor Combined Events Championships in Cardiff at the weekend (March 20th. ) and it was a trip well worth making for the youngster.

The John Scott-coached athlete was the only Scot taking part in the annual Championship, but she made sure all the honours did not stay down south as she took bronze in the girls' under 15 pentathlon. Following her bronze at the DM Hall Scottish Indoor Combined Events Championships in February, Sunday marked a fine step up for the 14-year-old all-rounder.
